We are seeking to appoint a motivated and inspirational teacher from September 2019 or earlier to add to our successful Science Department. This is an opportunity for a teacher to become part of an experienced and successful team of teachers who enjoy working together to raise the academic achievement of our students.
The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 Science to all ability ranges. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality lessons and achieving excellent results for our students, instilling in them a love for the subject and a desire to learn.
Prendergast Vale School is a small all-through school providing high quality education from nursery to Year 11, which aims to transform the lives of all the children who attend the school. By keeping the school small, we have created a community of pupils and teachers where no pupil is left behind which has enabled us to create an environment in which pupils want to learn, achieve and behave well.
This is an exciting time to join our school following our ‘Good’ Ofsted judgement in February 2018. The successful candidate will be part of a team committed to outstanding provision and outcomes for all students. The school benefits from being part of the Leathersellers’ Federation of Schools.
We are committed to providing excellent CPD for Middle Leaders and offer the accredited National Award for Middle Leaders (NPQML) to all Middle Leaders. We offer a comprehensive and supportive induction programme for all new staff. You will also have access to a rich and varied CPD programme within the school and across the Federation.
Through the Federation the successful candidate will have the opportunity to offer Master Classes to KS5 students to support professional development.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a forward thinking staff and school leadership team who ensure that the academic and social development of every student is at the heart of what they do.
