We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and ambitious Teacher of Geography from April 2019, to teach across KS3 to KS5. This post is offered on a fixed term contract to cover the substantive post holder’s maternity leave.
Geography is very well taught at Prendergast School with 66% of the cohort achieving the equivalent of 4+ GCSE in 2018 and a very strong value added score. At A level there is great expertise and the department has achieved ALPS scores as high as 2. The successful candidate will be joining a very strong team of teachers who enjoy working together to develop a love of learning in our students.
Prendergast School is an Outstanding 11-16 Girls School with a mixed 6th Form of over 350 students and benefits from being part of the Leathersellers’ Federation of Schools.
